Musical Background:
From a very young age Antoine was always fascinated by the rhythm of drums. This fascination continued to grow more as time passed by and he began listening to metal bands such as Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black Sabbath and later on Slayer, Sepultura, Death, etc

It was at the age of 15 that Antoine decided to start playing drums and so he found a summer job to buy his first drum kit. He started learning and practicing at his parents’ home and after some time he joined Dark Charisma, his first trash metal band after which he formed Black Dawn, a doom metal band which didn’t last long. So he joined Leprotica, a neighbour band playing trash metal, which after a few years was also dismantled. He then began to start taking music more seriously and so started attending drum lessons to further broaden his musical knowledge.

Antoine then joined death metal act Sceptocrypt together with some former Leprotica members. It was with this band that he performed his first live show in 1995. After several live performances and a couple of studio recordings Antoine took a long break from the musical scene.

As time passed by, however, his desire to start playing again grew more and more year after year. Seven years later, Antoine discovered Rising Sunset after reading a review of the band in a local newspaper magazine. He then contacted Mario and Carlo during the time when Rising Sunset was searching for a drummer. Antoine joined the band for some jamming sessions and after a short period he became part of the family as the official drummer.
